Marbella face a challenge to maintain their high-scoring form at home against a tight Águilas defence on Sunday.

With 40 goals in 33 games, Marbella are the fourth-highest scorers in the Segunda División RFEF Group 4 ahead of the 11am kick-off at Estadio Municipal de Marbella.

They face a Águilas side who have scored 24 in 33 matches, but conceded only 17 goals, putting them top of the league's tightest defences.

Marbella are third in the table after 33 games, of which they have won 16 and drawn seven, earning 55 points.

Águilas are four places behind the hosts in seventh, with 11 wins and 14 draws putting them on 47 points.

Marbella are in mixed form in the Segunda División RFEF Group 4, with three wins and three losses from their last six games.

With a win and three draws over that period, the away side's form is worse – they have taken six points from 18, compared to Marbella's nine.

Marbella's last match was on April 28, a 6-2 win against Vélez, with Alberto Soto Maldonado, Hugo Rodríguez Romero and Jacques Dago getting the goals for Marbella.

Águilas drew 1-1 with Yeclano Deportivo last time out, also on April 28, with Ismael Said Athuman González on the scoresheet.
