Málaga CF v Mérida AD

Málaga CF host Mérida AD in Sunday's late match at the Estadio La Rosaleda looking to bounce back from defeat last time out in Primera Division RFEF Group 2.

Málaga, who sit fourth in the league after 34 games, fell to a 1-0 away defeat to Córdoba on April 28.

They face a Mérida AD side who secured a draw in their last match, a 0-0 tie with Atlético Sanluqueño CF, and who sit 15th in the table.

In Roberto Fernández Jaén, Málaga have one of the league's most on-form strikers so far this season. He has notched 10 goals in 23 appearances, to sit second in the scoring charts.

His goal rate of one every 185 minutes is quicker than that of Daniel Sandoval Fernández, Mérida AD's top scorer with a goal every 352 minutes, and a total of four goals in 18 games.

With 29 goals in 34 games so far this season, the away side are scoring at below the league average rate with 0.9 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 41 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.

The hosts, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.1. They have conceded 0.6 goals per game.
