Hull City are strong favourites to take all three points despite Plymouth Argyle's home advantage in Saturday lunchtime's match at Home Park.

*Betting Company* are offering odds of 2.0 on Hull sealing the win, with the visitors sitting seventh in EFL Championship table.

Plymouth, who are 21st in the league and 22 points behind the Tigers, are priced at 3.3 to win. A draw is set at 3.5.

With 68 goals in 45 games so far this season, Hull are scoring more than average in the league with 1.5 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 59 goals at a rate of 1.3 per game.

Plymouth, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.3 goals per game. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.

In Morgan Whittaker, Argyle have one of the league's sharpest shooters so far this season. He has notched 19 goals in 45 appearances, to sit third in the scoring charts.

His goal rate of one every 205 minutes is quicker than that of Jaden Philogene, City's top scorer with a goal every 227 minutes, and a total of 12 goals in 31 games.

The Pilgrims are in mixed form in EFL Championship, with two wins and a draw from their last six games.

With three wins and three draws over that period, the Tigers' form is better – they have taken 12 points from 18, compared to the hosts' seven.

Plymouth's last match was on Saturday, a 1-0 loss against Millwall.

Saturday's match will be refereed by Darren Bond, who has taken charge of 12 EFL Championship games so far this season, issuing one red card and booking 47 players. He has awarded four penalties.

The last Hull game Bond refereed was the 3-1 loss away at Sheffield Wednesday on January 1. He is yet to oversee a match featuring Plymouth this season.
